Cakewalk helps you get fit, or it makes fun of you in front of your friends

We've been over countless fitness trackers here, in the form of wristbands, little buttons you stick in your shoe or hat and more. But what if you don't want to buy a something to wear on your wrist, but still want to keep track of how much of that Thanksgiving/Christmas padding you're losing?

Well, to quote the late, great Steve Jobs...there's an app for that.

Sure, there are plenty of fitness tracking apps available on the App Store. But how many of them are hilarious? And how many of them offer the option to publicly shame you on all of your social media accounts if you don't hit your targeted goal?

There's only one of those that we know of, and it's called Cakewalk.

Cakewalk uses the motion sensor in your iPhone (which, admittedly, already tracks everything this app will use) to keep track of how much you move throughout the day. Then, each morning, it will send you a message about how much you accomplished in your previous day. And, as you can see from the screenshot up there at the top of this post, they are often hilarious and also make fun of you.

And if the thought of being shamed in front of all your friends on Twitter and Facebook isn't enough to get you up off the couch and walking, well, I don't know what will.

What do you think?
