Range Rover Evoque Convertible: Yes, A Range Rover Convertible!

Range Rover Evoque Convertible

I don't know about you, but I really like the Range Rover Evoque. Sure, it's wildly different from the rest of the Rover line, and it doesn't really even look like a Range Rover except on the front end. But there's something about that vehicle that just takes my breath away. In my brain, it's the most gorgeous and sensibly-designed car on the planet. All that, and it doesn't break the bank to park one in your garage.

And then along comes...this. It's the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. Now, this is a SUV, and you really don't see things like SUV convertibles very often. But this? I can dig this, mostly because it's still an Evoque. I fully expect to see these parked in the garage at my gym soon, because my gym is filled with soccer moms who absolutely love driving the standard Evoques, and this is a convertible version. Soccer moms love convertibles and also cars that look expensive.

This Evoque still has the same engine and off-roading capabilities that Range Rovers are known for, but it also has a cloth cover that automatically folds down in 17 seconds. Oh, and you can put the top down while driving, so long as you're going under 30 miles per hour. That's neat.

You can get this thing in diesel or gas engine flavors, and that engine revs up to 240hp. It has all of the fun tools the other Evoques do, which means you get four wheel drive and dynamic stability control all baked right now.

So if you're looking to hit the open road in style, and then maybe veer off that open road and head into the mountains, check out the new Evoque convertible. ($50,000)
