Samsung Reveals Galaxy S6, S6 Edge! You'll Want One for Sure.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 has arrived, and it is a beauty.

Finally ditching the plastic found in previous models, the Android-powered S6 is made of premium glass and metal. While the Galaxy line has always given us attractive phones, the S6 finally feels premium on the same level as Apple's iPhone offerings. Samsung kept the size the same: 5.1 inches seems to be the sweet spot for these phones, for now.

They've also upgraded the screen. This year's version features the same Super AMOLEDZING displays we've seen in Samsung phones in recent years. But the resolution has been upgraded to 2560x1440, which yes, is higher than Apples.

Oh, and there's a twist: the S6 will offer a version (the S6 Edge) with curved screen edges on the left and right side to ensure when you're shoving chips to the center of the table you can still hang on to it. Both models will feature a 16-megabyte camera with an aperture of f1.9, which means you'll be able to get all sorts of gorgeous low-light poker room photos out of it.

Samsung kept their LED flash/heart rate sensor on the back of the phone, and the front features a new touch-based fingerprint reader that is more similar to Apple's touch feature than last year's Galaxy S5's swipe-based sensor.

No release date or price has been announced, but previous Galaxy phones have shipped in April. So if you're Android for life, you'll likely be able to pick up one (or both) of these beauties in a little more than one month.
