The Single Edge razor will change the way you shave

I used to be like you. I used to shave with one of those expensive as hell razors. You know, the ones that used to have 2 blades and now have like 14 blades on each cartridge?

But then I discovered safety razors. I guess I always knew about them, because my granddad used to shave with one. I always assumed they were horrible and unsafe, and I pictured myself shaving my face and then accidentally slicing myself open, making me look like Heath Ledger's take on the Joker character. So I stayed away from them. To be honest, I didn't even know they were a thing until three years ago when I stopped into the Art of Shaving store at Mandalay Bay.

I made the switch to a safety razor that day, and I've never looked back. It's the best, most comfortable shave you'll ever have. And the same box of 200 blades I bought that day? I'm still using them. $9 for a box of blades that has lasted three years. That's a much better deal than paying $8 each for those multiple-blade razors, right?

If you're still hesitant to make the jump, you should check out the new Single Edge razor. It's on Kickstarter right now starting at $50, and it's fantastic. It's a completely reimagined and futuristic take on the vintage safety razor, with the same close shave you'd expect from a safety razor. It's machined from a single piece of gorgeous metal, and it uses custom blades that are much thicker than the ones you're used to. You can even turn a dial to select how close of a shave you want on each particular day, just like you'd do with your electric clippers.

Take your shaving experience to the next level without fear of cutting your face in half, and experience why wetshaving is so much better than the way you've been shaving for years.
