If you're anything like us, you lose your wallet from time to time. And by "from time to time," we mean all the time, and that's no good for a poker player. Eventually you find it, buried so far down in your couch cushions that you swear it must have crawled there on its own volition. But the act of having to look for your wallet, well, that's agonizing, especially when all you want to do is hit the tables.
Fear not, because a very smart man named Daniel Eckler has created the Where's Wallet, a fun play on Where's Waldo.
The Where's Wallet has a built in sensor that syncs up with an app on your smartphone. In the app, you can set up a notification that will ping you when you get more than 10 (or 20, or 50) feet away from your wallet. Once you receive the notification, the app will guide you back to your wallet. No more leaving your Michael Kors wallet in the locker at the gym.
Another cool feature: you can press a button your phone's Where's Wallet app, and the wallet will emit an audible ding. You can continue to ping your wallet until you find it.
The Where's Wallet is available in three different models right now via Kickstarter. We can't wait to save a ton of time by not losing our wallets ever again.
